I love all the rustiness plus the wooden rollers on this old mangle. I remember my grandmother having one of these, together with a washboard!

This is a belated gift for Mick - hope you had a great birthday and sorry that Pamela Anderson couldn't visit! WinkWink

Have a good day everyone and thanks for your continued support.

Carol

This one doesn't look as though it's rolled for some time. Bit of rock maybe! Nicely done, Carol.

I can remember my mother having one of these, and a washboard! Wink I used to get the job of turning the handle on the mangle! Wonderfully captured and presented, Carol Smile

Remember the old mangles Carol, but have never seen one with wooden rollers. Love the treatment you have given this image.
When I started my nurse training, there were no washing machines in the nurses home. We did however have wringers which attached to the sink. Brilliant for putting creases in your jeans (which of course, we all did then Sad) . Moira
