I'm not known for my confidence in asking strangers if I can take their photo, but I made an exception for this chap in a certain pub in Aysgarth, who seemed completely in his element.

That is an astoundingly good shot. The light is just amazing and the dust motes caught in the sunlight are perfect, I love the processing as well, just enough colour in the pint. His expression is spot on and the surroundings are perfect. A wonderful shot and although I don't have a user award set up please accept an imaginary one, best pic of the week for me.

A really superb portrait. The light and dust particles give the shot atmosphere and the subject has been captured extremely well.
