Hello everyone, once again thanks for all the support and comments and votes on 'The Oscars'.

It is very difficult to choose photographs for a series like this. Normally, I should imagine, that if a play was being photographed for publication, the costumes would be the key point of interest. Unfortunately the patients at the Rehab had to improvise as best as they could.

Their theatre was built with off cuts of wood, logs cut down from the bush surrounding the farm, sponsored paint, ground sheeting, old carpet cut offs and make do lighting. I take my hat off to the hard work that these patients put into creating this theatre.

Here is another image from the play "Cruelty and the Beast" produced, written, and acted by the men that are in the secondary care unit of the Rehab.

From the left we have 'Lucifer' (I improvised a little and added a few small flames to his trident and horns!) we also have Jezabel and of course my firm favorite, Judas Iscariot.
Lucifer is having a few problems with Jezabel and she is trying to use seductive manipulation to keep him calm!

Whoever did the costumes had some fun! 'Fraid my favourite has got to be Jezabel, what old devil could resist such charms?
Great work, on a number of fronts - the flames are a fun addition.

When everything has to be created by the cast - script, lighting, props, costume, make-up, music/effects - the process is one of the most positive aspects of education. I can imagine how important an aspect of rehab it becomes. Fascinating to see it at work. And really well recorded, too.
