I spotted this lonely Mushroom at the end of a small path when I was out for a very short walk with my wife and Jack our ageing Collie Dog. This one appealed to me, but after a couple of shots and looking on the camera screen it didn't work too well as they seemed too much looking down on the subject. As I had my walking stick and my wife (for support) I got down on the ground which actually put me slightly lower than the shroom. So with Jack trying to stick his tongue in my ear, I rested the camera on the needles et al and snapped. This time I was happy and I hope you are as well. Took me an age to get up though Sad

Thank you everyone for my votes and comments yesterday REALLY appreciated.

Well worth the effort getting down low for this one Mike, same technique I used for mine, luckily the dogs didn't lick me while I was taking mine though they did try and get in the way!! Nicely controlled lighting and detail on the cap. Regards, Andy
