I like the shot. Youve probably done just as well as he has! I agree it needs a tilt, and crop, and a reduction on colour, but mainly on the luminescent grass in front.
I used only the trees as a reference for vertical, so the mod will look a little different. There are some wires along the top Ive tried to remove also.
The lens is a Canon 70-300mm f/4L
