The Posh Wedding. The marriage of an acquaintance of mine at the time. The groom was rather well off, compared to us plebes. Hence top hat affair!
It was a freezing cold winter's day and the official tog took a couple of hours to take his pics - from the church entrance to the somewhat long way away church entrance - all formal stuff.
I suspected that the chap above, a member of grooms party, was having trouble with frozen fingers. The light wasn't all that bright either.
Well, at least he didn't have problems with frozen batteries.
Nor did I, with my Kodak Retina, loaded with Ilford HPS film.
Another blast from the past!
I never saw the official tog's pics.
Circa 1960
Ilford High Speed Pan uprated to 1600 ASA dilute developer processed.
Scanned from the original negative on a PrimeView 1800u negative scanner.

Do Kodak produced twin lens Retinas ? I have one , send Ur email ID pl.
I don't know of a Kodak twin lens camera, other than the 'Duoflex;', which was really a simple box camera with a large finder lens above the taking lens. here
Edit: And this one which is more sophisticated.
Agfa produced one - the Agfa Flexilette which used 35mm film. here
The man in the picture above was using a Rollei of some sort - Rolleiflex or Rolleicord. I was using my Kodak Retina.
