This weekend was my first attempt at taking shots of motor racing. This was taken from the Grandstand on a wet Day 2 at Le Mans 24Hrs using a Canon EOS 40D and a Sigma 18 - 200mm lens

That's a very nice capture - I think - Ross. Hard to tell at this size. You're using less than 50% of the size you can upload images at. Using 600 pixels on the longest or widest side would help a lot.

Having said that, I can see even at this size that there's nice spray (it was rainy, I presume), and it does look good. I think I might have preferred the first car to have had some more space on the right to 'drive into', but that's a minor niggle.

Any chance of getting to see a bigger version?

Hi Ross,

You can upload upto a 600 pixel on the longest side image.

It is quite hard to make out as it is too small. Might be worth uploading so critique can be applied.

As an initial thumbnail it looks like a well captured image,
