This is a shot I took a while ago in the town centre of Utrecht in The Netherlands. The blind musician was standing in the middle of a crowded square but all the action around him didn't seem to bother him at all.
Hope you are all doing well. Haven't been around much, being busy setting up my freelance translation business - back to the roots so to speak, after more than ten years in the IT industry...

Welcome back! And with such a wonderful portrait study, super detail and the toning really works.
Carol
A rather touching candid portrait, the toning gore well with the subject.
Wishing you luck in your new venture!
Bill
I find this quite moving, he seems so alone. It's good to see you back on the site. (BTW we weren't stranded in Holland last week, we had actually booked the ferry! Sometimes we land on our feet...)
Moira
So involved in his music - I agree a touching image, for which the sepia tones work well. Best wishes for your new venture
