While visiting an 'Open Garden' recently I came across many fellow photogs. Most were there to simply photograph the garden design and/or individual plants, but a small pond lay in one shaded area of the garden and I immediately thought, 'I'll have some fun with this'. I didn't have long to wait for this gent and his lady friend to appear in just the right place and the picture came together. Well almost. In post-processing I flipped the original photo 180° degrees to achieve the effect I wanted. Getting the tall chimney stacks from the house in the photo and the lawn edging making it look almost like a thatched roof was an added bonus.
