I don't know what your secret recipe is for producing these stunning images is, Alan; it works every time as far as I'm concerned!
Taking photographs is one thing - knowing how to creatively develop the 'raw material' is something else!

The use of pastel is very creative Alan, another superb interpretation.

I work on the basis that colour needs to add something to justify its presence in an image, this is the perfect illustration. A blast of joyous colour on a bleak grey day. It adds life.

Turner's atmosphere storming towards Manet's. Vigorous landscape.

This appears to be an image of a skillful painting, if I did not know otherwise, an engaging use of colour and movement.

this is not taking home.. this is, as i see it, churning me on and on.. gives the feeling of being in a valley.. but not so harmless one.. something that lures into entrapment.. and 'beyond' then looks such a fascinating word..
another interesting vision..

This is something very different to yesterday's road home, Alan. The red, for me, represents something more sinister, a prescence to be avoided. You are looking over your shoulder to see if it is pursuing you...

The Moulin Rouge goes on the road.

Marvellous candy floss Alan, good to have some humour in our lives.
