...just above Altnaharra in Sutherland.
Like a painting
Big mountains but en even bigger sky, clouds allowing sunlit areas and partial shadowing of the distant scene.
The heavy cloud band across the top balances well with the sunlit band across the immediate f/g.
The Road North contributes so little to the overall scene but what views from it.
Impressive scenery Dougie ( a tad less of the blue channel IMHO )
Ron it was a Hard Grad wot done it, I had cleaned my filters and managed to leave the soft grad at home.
Like the big sky and light on the hills here Dougie
Aye, a dream.... my dream!
It looks a bit wild out there Dougie.
There's wild haggis everywhere Danny.
Wonderfull 'big' sky!! Nice image!! I like it a lot!!
An impressive very low pov, Dougie. Don't tell me you were prone on the ground?
Thia would, I feel, make an impressive threatening b&w conversion with that sky...
The sky ia amazing and adds so much more to the picture but of course you already know that, a superb image
Superb landscape with great light and marvellous sky.
I love big skies, nice one.
The road runs up a hill here Malc and then drops down into the glen beside Ben Loyal.
I was actually leaning against the side of the car for balance handholding the camera.
I try not lo lie prone except in bed these days.
Cracking hot !!......looks sooo remote, yet inviting.....great sky !!
