A view north across the Clyde estuary to Dumbarton Rock and with Ben Lomond in right far distance, captured with mid evening summer sun.

My thanks to all for the kind comments on Charles Darwin and for the messages about our second grandson's arrival.........very much appreciated.

What a wonderful feature you have captured here, the remnants of an ancient volcano no doubt. A superbly composed image.

With the tide out it always looks as if we could walk across the Clyde to Dumbarton Rock.
Good f/g interest and view in distance too. An image to sit and gaze upon.

And an impressive looking rock it is too, Ronnie! Smile Looks like you could almost walk across to it from your viewpoint with the tide fully out. A very delightful scene Smile

Harsh light but you've held the detail well in the processing, Ronnie. The three 'humps' make a strong compositional triangle.

A great composition Ronnie, using the foreground rocks to add depth to the image. The low evening light also contributes a lot.
