4 Stages in the life of Ribes aureumalso known as golden or buffalo currant. A native of Western N America and growing to height of 6-8ft and spread of around 4-5ft, its flowers are clove scented, bright yellow and tubular, appearing as drooping racemes in April. They are followed by berries which eventually turn a globose black.
