Photo taken while I was passing through the narrow roads of Rabat in Malta. I saw this sculptor working on a logo.

I think the pictures in the background are very distracting. Convert it to a mono and add a strong vignette to darken the background. I think it has merit and is worth a try.

Excellent shot. Its a candid of a person working, so it is as-is, - cant expect him to remove his pictures for you. The exposure, colour, tone are all really good, and this is one time that the dark border, with the smaller white border works.

Well done Mario

A fine capture of the artist at work, Mario. He looks very well dressed. I like the way the light falls on the logo, concentrating attention in that area. I alsolike his expression of concentration and slight smile. You say you were passing, but I wonder if you asked the gentleman if you could take his picture. If you had permission and he didn't mind "posing", you could have moved slightly to the right and used the dark curtain to completely cover the background. However, perhaps the pictures have something to do with his trade, and are relevant? Maybe they show some of his work, or are just architectural examples.
Pamela.

I really like this shot, very good shot of a man at his trade. Moira

I like this photo and as the others have said the photos on the wall do detract from it. I took the photos away and it made matters worse so I made a photo of your photo and placed that on the wall. I have uploaded a copy,
I hope that this helps.
Mick
