V1 - A mix of a very little reality (the central panel of textured steel and the right-hand handle), and a lot of reflection;
V2 - Some sort of explanation - this is the door at the back of the Kielder Water Belvedere, a sculpture/shelter built of panels of textured and polished steel, to reflect the landscape around it.
Mikbee is going into hospital for an op today - for once, let’s hope they don’t find too much rust... Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery, Mick.
I have very little time on the site at the moment, as well as the exams being in full swing I am preparing the town's Northumbria in Bloom portfolio for printing - 30 pages, loads of photos, flowers of course, but also community activities, schools’ involvement, horticultural and environmental policy, lists of sponsors etc. Twenty seven pages done, just three to go, there’s light at the end of the tunnel!
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Your eye for the unusual is as ever very good Moira, love the different textures, quite mind bending in some ways.
I agree with your sentiment on Mikbee, hope all goes well and he's out again soon, fit and well.

I remember your "reflective" images before Moira, and these two are just as excellent.
Get well soon Mikbee!

Thanks everyone. When I left this morning for school this was on 2 votes out of 16 unique views, it did not bode well... I'm glad you have enjoyed it.
A very nice Head Teacher has just to agreed to a picture of his students going into the portfolio, no hysteria, no calls for the police... I'm off out again photographing gardens this afternoon, that will be another page.

It's good that you have still found time to upload this shot. What a find, something to be explored. I must admit that at first I thought you had found a space age public toilet! A case of art imitating life?

I thought Mikbee had entered the Big Brother House when i saw v1 and hadn't seen him about here recently! lol It looks like the entrance to the house, not that I watch that mindless rubbish you understand. It's just like watching paint dry or this years Fifa world cup! lol
