Good Afternoon,

I've got a new lens!! Yay, its a wideangle so now I'm looking forward to learn about landscapes, this was my first attempt with my new lens. It is taken close to where I like, a place called The Shallows.

you have an eye for composition - I like the curve of fence leading through the image.

I know its an alien time of day to people of your age Wink but try some landscapes at first light - the low angle of the sun makes for magical light and "picks out" the shapes and contours of the land and really brings scenes to life

I like the way the railing leads you through the image too Smile

Another good landscape tip that I was given when I first started, Oli, was that if there's nothing happening in the sky, crop it off! try it and see what you think - personally, I think you can afford to crop this to the top of the trees Smile

Have fun with the new lens Smile
