Version 2 works best for me. Nice set up, lighting and great idea.

Nicely set up and lit again. This is a really nice series. I prefer v2, but v1 matches the title best.

Ghostly set up !!!!!!!!

But interesting how subtle colour changes can effect the entire image.

So well lit. I like V1 because of the warm tones of the room, and the mono man contrasts nicely. He could even have been a bit more desaturated to make him more ghostly.

I liked the first, but thought it lacked something, and that was where the second one gained, but I found the smiles too sickly...and then you deliver this. I love the set, but the looks and subject positioning on this just are more or less what I was hoping for, when I'd seen the first too.
I can't work out if the framed pic shouldn't be behind you but that all adds to the surreal element.

Outstanding David, congrats

Colin

Thanks Pete - or as I am won't to address people who do me favours with a 'diminutive' or knickname I'll call you Pedro .............rofl!!

By the way the 'sickly'smile you refer to is a message of love between her and and 'im - cheeky bugger Smile

Personally I thought the 'spectre' subject being behind the shot had two effects - 1/somewhat puts the spectre more into the 'netherworld'
- 2/ the photo is one of the 'spectre' in his youth in a classic role and so ties the two of them together - much as the main character is tied with her reflection ???

(I've said for many years now one of 'mans' greatest abilities, for better or worse (usually worse) is his/her ability to rationalise an event (often just so much BS) Smile

and thanks all for you approval - if that's what it was..... Smile

Can't stop smiling!

I really like the second version in this series. I was thinking selective toning and then here it is. I think it is just subtle enough without being over the top. Love the way the picture is sort of hanging over him. I am still not sure about the flowers though and whether something else might replace them?? not sure about what though..Jo

Not my favourite from the set but it's been a marvellous series .... beautifully set up and photographed. Congrats on the well deserved award. POTW or my names not Marcia Henrietta Clogsworthy.
