My first attempt at Macro focus stacking. Subject is obviously my Pocket watch and I used my Sigma 105mm Macro lens on my EOS 40D. There are 13 Macro images used here to get the complete "stacked" depth of Field.
I used Photoshop to stack the old fashioned way by loading all the images into a stack and then creating individual masks for each image.
It was done quite quickly so I know it is not perfect but I would be interested in any comments or suggestions for improvements

Aaaaaaargh! No wonder my macro images have such poor depth of field.
Well worked macro image.
I'll ignore the technical stuff and just enjoy the final result. Good tight crop, and lovely detail.
