Reculver is often missed on the English Heritage trail, sometimes due to its location (one road in, one road out). I saw a chap here today and must have spent a good while with camera and tripod (as do many who come here).
I wasnt going to take my camera out today but chucked it into the bag with just the 50mm lens (I would REALLY like an ultra wide so will come here again later when Ive saved my pennies)
I must have taken around 120 shots with the 50 and I dont think I was too happy with many of them. I took a couple out and picked this one, and decided to crop it and mess around with it a little in Photoshop. The sun was starting to go down but not enough to really give me the wonderful colours a sunset can give you... a few tweaks and it came.. well to me it did Smile

I have seen many images of Reculver, and I can honestly say this is one of the very best. Stunning light wonderfully controlled.
