The teeming sea life in the Bora Bora lagoon, French Polynesia. For this image I ised an Aquatech underwater housing whilst snorkellling to allow me to shoot the split under / over image. This is one image with no manipulation. I feel that the sea birds sharing in the feeding frenzy really add to the image. Copyright Chris McLennan

Unique image and exquisite.
A wonderful combination of sky and sea and fish and bird.

If you have used no manipulation then you deserve a lot of credit for this image. This is an award winning photo that would sit quite happily on a wall or a magazine cover. Well done on what is one of the best images I have seen on here for a while!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Hi Chris, I dont think you have quite figured out the site yet. Your portfolio shots do not have the VOTE option enabled, so youre not getting the attention the shots deserve. Look at the load page, and the check boxes at the bottom left, and make sure you check to allow votes, awards, etc. You could have won half a dozen so far. You cant go back and change this, so for future ashots, look closely at that image loading page.

This shot is tagged for critique, and needs none, - its superb. There is a section for Pro Critique where you should post your shots for critique.

Regards

Willie

This is really appealing. I like the sunny colours and all the action going on Smile You've done well to capture this.

Awesome image from a place I'd love to visit. As has been mentioned above, I think this image would have got loads of attention if posted in the standard 'voting' section, but perhaps that's as you intended.

Would be happy to hang this one on my wall and dream of warmer climes!

Superb. I think the odd image in this section like this shows those still learning, most of us, what is actually possible. Votes don't mean a thing in my opinion.

Hi Willie. Thanks for that. I did have the voting box checked but it doesn't seem to have worked unfortunately...any troubleshooting advice? Grin

Had a look at your website, Chris, and am in awe.
Having checked the Critique Gallery option, voting will automatically be disabled.
It all depends what you want really. But to me, this is an award-winning image, and I'd like to have seen it in the main Photography Gallery where you can get comments, votes and awards too.
Pamela.
