part IV
I'd like to thank all of you for your votes, but, above all, for the encouraging comments received for this series.
When I came back home from this night session, I felt quite disappointed looking at the pictures taken.
After about a month I've decided to process them, now I've collected three UA's (thanks Anne, Ken and Richard
) and an average numbers of votes which is slightly higher than usual. so, never trust yourself!
enjoy your day and thanks for looking

A very useful umbrella too, I suspect that it helped to keep you relatively dry in the process!
I love the composition here - the converging lines leading to a high focal point, which is gently protected by the umbrella. Plus the harsh glare of street lighting showing up the rain.
I'm finding these inspiring, I really must tackle bad weather shots. I'm a comfort-loving coward...
I often find that I appreciate images better ( and sometimes the reverse) after time has given a certain distance emotionally.

An excellent and inspiring series continues. Fabulous composition, lines, textures, while the reflections from the street lamp splayed out across the pavement really puts some zing into the scene.
Regards
Bill
