Taken last September in the Pyrenees when I was hiking to a mountain pass that was used in WWII by the resistance to get people out of France.
V2 is in the pass looking back
Excellent images Rende, very atmospheric,
Excellent image of a lovely area
Wow...just love V1 and the bird makes it even more special...great photography
Two dramatic captures Rende and v2 rocks my boat for the texture.
Both dramatic and atmospheric, but V1 my favourite, Rende.
Captures from a place which looks like Olympus the mountain of gods in Greece . Great compositions Rende!
A very impressive view of the rugged terrain. I can only imagine the trials that those poor souls went through to escape. V1 is especially dramatic.
Very dramatic images.. V1 very atmospheric. I like v2 for the contrasting..
Both are very atmospheric and well composed.
Two excellent shots, Rende, very powerful. I particularly like V2.... absolutely steeped in atmosphere.
two super shots. christine
Two very beautiful images. I wonder how many miles or kilometres to reach Spain?
V1 is gorgeous, the kite and the rocks disappearing into the clouds. Looking up, height above us.
V2 - Looking down. Vertiginous!
Two great images. I think v1 sums up the Pyrennees very well in one image.
Superb. - gary
Two crackers, v1 with the bonus bird is magic.
Marvellous - I love the Pyrenees!
A rocky pass indeed Rende !!
V1 makes me feel as if I am looking down into an abyss. Must have been one hell of a journey under wartime conditions.
Two incredibly atmospheric, dramatic and beautiful images Rende. I particularly like image number one. "Simply Superb"
Two really dramatic images, Rende!
V1 is, as Nathan says, "Simply superb".
Both such strong images but V2 for me.
Two superb photos showing the magnificent Pyrenees at their best.
Both beautiful and dramatic Rende.
Stunning scape. Full of atmosphere. The inclusion of the bird has given it scale.
V1 Rende .... the bird makes it.
Both images are wonderfully atmospheric Rende. I remember seeing condors soaring under thermal currents when I visited the Pyrenees many years ago. Something I will never forget.
Beautiful work Rende......................looks like a very special area
Two dramatic captures, v1 for me
