Perhaps you should consider street photography, Rende: this is beautifully observed and perfectly timed. It is not just the cigarette but the jaunty angle at which it is held, parallel to the bottom of the mask indeed. The shades of red and Blue are very much your trademark, at least since you moved from Canon to Pentax.
Superb.

Bill

I just can't help thinking what a faff it all is trying to smoke whilst wearing a tin hat which looks like it could clamp shut any second, and huge gloves. Top observation.

Love honest captures like this. The colors and the shadows are great, the white spots look fluorescent.

Looks like a character from a Mad Max film, Rende! He has a look and attitude that tells me he's about to give someone some grief, pulling the glove on in readiness...Wink

I can just imagine all that smoke captured under the head gear. Gagging, coughing, yuck. Protecting his hands but not his lungs. The last puff before setting into work. Great shot Rende........Sandy

For being out of your comfort zone, this is pretty impressive. The whole composition is so balanced and his attitude and posture tell a lot about his character. Excellent.
(Gotta love those Pentax)
