I've uploaded an image of this cross before. I spotted this spiders web the other day and managed to pop out this morning to capture it in the early morning sun. Thanks for looking and for any comments and/or criticisms.

Grey, green, white. Nice austere palette. The web is good, the bokeh even better!

Marvellous Ann, the web is pin sharp and the bokeh is spot on, it's not easy to get the bokeh this good, You must have been on your face in the grass to get this. I hope the spider didn't sit down beside you?

A bit of a cheat really Dougie - the pavement is below the level of the graveyard, so the grass is at shoulder height, making it a doddle to capture!
Very good comp and I do like the the way the dew stands out , pin sharp on the web very good control of the aperture, nice shot. Ann
All of the above and them some - a wonderful, evocative image.
Knowing that it's a Cross, really makes this image for me Ann, really well done.

The web survives against a threatening sky. Moody!

The light on the de-focussed grass and the bokeh is exceptional, Ann, it transforms a good image into an excellent one. The web in the angle of the cross is well lit against the dark background. Beautifully done.

Wonderful shot with the light catching the web, great use of DOF.

A truly lovely image Ann. The dof and the composition are just perfect. Excellent work again.

Wonderful light on the web - gorgeous bokeh with wonderful spectral highlights in the grass!
