Wow, here is history, good quality and pleasing composition. Even though it is around noon, the light is somber and very fitting. TG
It's a superb composition and exposure Clive but the finished image for me has lost its shine and brightness( the shadow from the foreground stone suggests strong sunlight) with the top section in particular showing all the blackness of the grad filtering used.
A touch of shadow/highlights on the top half would remove the latter and auto contrast would put back the light.
Still gets my vote though for being a nice image
