Originally I wasn't gonna post this jpg simply because the low winter sun was in the wrong direction to illuminate the Gooses face. But when I saw the reflections I decided to upload it for it's artistic properties alone.

Do you know what. Not all photos have to show all details in the birds face and body. The low winter sun has some wonderful properties to it. SHooting into the sun can produce some wonderful effects especially when ice is around. Forget convention and the rule and have fun. Most of my shots are done through an artistic slant. It is what inspires me. I love slimbridge and all the wildfowl. Have fun and experiemnt with your own style. Look forward to seeing more of your images.

Thanks for your input Annette I've just marked you as a constructive critique .. Please call here again I'll look forward to it. :o)
