It would have probably been a lot more surreal had you met them Wink

A good result though Smile

It was b----- amazing light, and it greeted us straight off the Corran Ferry. No waiting for us that day!

Nice shot.. the reflection looks brilliant. Any shots of just the two boats on the left or the single one on the right? Might be a nice shot with the boats closer in view.. but then you might lose the dramatic sky..

... did you not see the Team W.A.S.P. flag and the tell-tale size 11 footprints?

EDIT: Still on for next week?

... we'll have to compare metadata and find out who can claim ownership LOL Tongue

That said, the fact you got the mirror like surface too would probably denote that you were, as we packed up when the breeze affected it a little later on.

Funny that as we stopped for the light. Ripples aplenty then but it calmed down for about 5 mins, the breeze picking up again as a gang with phones descended.
Yes, still on for next week, unless the weather is like today.

It was fabulous, wasn't it? Did you go on the dodgy jetty? Had to wait about 10 mins to set up a shot cos it shook so much! Smile

looked at the thumbnail and thought it was one of paul or frans! I can't believe we didn't meet either, we were there for a good 1/2 hour on and around that jetty.

A beautiful scene Melanie; great colours, sky and reflection and a lovely glow with the light on the shoreline.
What a great old boat on the right; makes me wish the buoys and other boats were'nt there for a fairytale scene!

A supreme example of great composition. A painter has an option to move elements in a scene and would have picked this exact horizontal placement. A beauty Mel.
