This is the first time this year I hve been out with the camera doing a landscape sunset.I don't know whether this has been due to the weather, lack of enthusiasm or some other factor.

Well it was worth it for the wonderful capture here - it seems to need a tad of rotating to me
A picture in two halves with still and peaceful water in the foreground, but movement in the top half ![]()

A fair sized walk along the wall for this view Danny, you brought me here all these years ago. I like the way the wind has stopped just short of the boats for you to catch the reflection, good that you're getting out and about again.

I cheated Dougie. I know a way that I can get the car to within 50 yards of the lake edge. I will show you one day.
Danny
Excellent! Clean, clear light and inky shadows. Plus the contrasting smooth and rippled surface textures.
Glad you are getting out and about, hope that includes A&T on Thursday!

Well you have been just a bit busy with other things, Danny. And the weather has been utterly vile for so long.
I'm glad you have a new one of this trio at Crag Lough. I looks fabulously peaceful if you use the dark/light button to cover all the inessentials round about and study the light as you saw it through the viewfinder.

I did find when I turned 60 Danny,
it is getting harder for me to get motivated
and get off my backside to go out now.
And that dreadful weather we have had is no help I suppose !!
A peaceful serene shot indeed.
(Makes me want to go for a lie down now !!)
Mick.
A change is as good as a rest they say. Good to re-charge batteries once in a while.... the trick is not feeling you HAVE to do something or even anything..... and a beautiful result when you go back.

What happens then when you turn 70
nice tranquil image Danny

It's 80 that I'm worried about.
