LARGE is a must, neither the thumbnail or regular image do this shot much justice!!
Friday night at the Trevi Fountain, what a glorious work of art. The trip to Rome was worth it just for this magnificent piece of sculpture. The only down side was the bustling throng of tourists (including Sam and I).
It was a good job I took my velbon Mini tripod....founf myself a gap in the crowd, set myself up and clicked away at F22 on a 3 second exposure. The colours are natural and provided by the lighting. It was just as impressive when we returned on Saturday in broad daylight.
Thanks for looking, take time to see LARGE and hit F11 if you can.
Mike

A wonderful image Mike, love the lighting and composition
Must show this amazing shot to my daughter next time she is visiting from the mainland; she flew to London and also travelled to Paris and Rome during a 10-day "so-called" Reading Break from Dalhousie Law School in Nova Scotia, Canada, a few years ago. One of the many highlights of her visit to Rome was the Trevi Fountain!!
Thanks for sharing this wonderful image with all of us at EPZ!
