Thought I'd try a mono version of my last upload - not sure I've got the sky quite right so would welcome any comments.

I can't see any reason to be concerned about the sky. The image is beautiful. I find it quite movingly so.
Without the ripples this would be a good, but unremarkable image of a lake reflection. Those ripples give it the magic. Excellent. As for the sky, I have ni issue, my only comment would be that it looks far brighter in the reflection, but that is what water can do to light sometimes...Peter
Superb ripples, and overall clarity in the image, Geoff. The only thing I can think you are referring to in the sky is the cloud on the right which is a bit more diffuse than the white fluffy ones, but that's the nature of the cloud and not a lot you can do about it. A lovely mono conversion.
