Yesterday I spent a very pleasant day out with Graham {digital_boi} down the Clyde coast at Culzean. Weather was glorious but perhaps not the ideal for landscapes.
This one is a view from the foreshore at Culzean and looking across the Firth of Clyde towards Arran, with patches of sea thrift on the f/g rocks, the f/g being in temporary cloud shadow.

My thanks to all who commented on Rhododendron Walk and with special thanks to John {jdinne} for his User Award.

Ronnie.

A delightful seascape Ronnie. The foreground thrift is a bonus.

What a glorious display of Sea thrift.
Glad you had a wonderful day out. We were at Dumfries House.
Have you been there? Your kind of place and Prince Charles is due on 14th June,
so everything is being prepared for his visit.
Culzean would have been beautiful yesterday.

Very nice Ronnie love the thrift. Sometimes we have to take the light as we find it, it's not always convenient to come back at the exact right time.

The purple is almost luminous, Ronnie, and looks good when mixed with the orange lichen. The shape of the rocky foreground echoes the far hills so well. The lighting may not be the best for distant landscapes but you've used it to your advantage on this rocky foreshore.
