This clematis is growing up through our wisteria, so I tried a shot at telephoto setting and wide aperture to capture the clematis centre through a gap in the wisteria leaves.

My thanks to all who commented on Robin and with special thanks to Pam {mashwood10} for her User Award.

Ronnie.

(PS. Thanks for all the good wishes....glad to say I am feeling on the mend today........R)

Well composed Ronnie, makes a completely different image, but still with the focus on the centre of that lovely clematis.

Good image and a good message about that back of yours. An unusual and very clever way to photograph the flower amongst the greenery of the other plant. Far from the studio and back outdoors, you must be feeling a bit better Ronnie. Good news my friend.

This works perfectly for me, Ronnie. Superb detail and textures and exquisite vibrant colour. So well composed - love the special effects created by the use of a long telephoto lens in this type of photography.
