Just back from a long day's shooting and dodging the rain in the dales.

Stopped off in Clapham on the way home and saw some cracking water falls, but this one under the main bridge opposite the pub really grabbed me.

Got a few shots that were very traditional, then walked over the bridge, looked over into the maelstrom and saw this! Chanced the cameras lfe and dangled it over the wall and got this effect.

5 seconds @ F16 as it was pretty dark

Got lots of trad shots, but this one is my fave that I've looked at so far.

Cracking shot gives you some idea of the power of the water.

Wasn't quite sure what this was from the thumbnail! The shot really conveys the tremendous power of the water. Nice one.

ta folks, it's dead wierd, and looking down over the bridge was quite intimidating

in fact, every stream in the dales seemed to be intimidating today

lots of noise and brown water everywhere

thought about posting this as a "guess what it is" shot.. thought better of it.

just wish you could hear the noise too!

The unusual angle is mind boggling at first Ade, nice idea and very well executed. The water has collected lots of colour in it's rush to the sea.

All the very best

Different matey.... Very good too, I like how it sprawls out in a mushroom cloud effect like an atomic bomb, kinda showing how forceful the fall isSmile
