Just goes to show you that a common starling can easily hold its place in the design and beauty game. The dove is very pleasing too though. Nice combo image fpor style and size comparison. Well done. !! TG

I love V1 where the two birds are together Trev ! this is really an excellent capture. I just love the markings on the bird on the left and feel such pity for the dove impaled on that cruel spike on your fence Smile

Let me guess Trev, you feed them! Four lovely shots. You have one the Starling full justice in 1 & 3, and I love the simplicity of 2.

Lovely set Trev, with great detail. We have the same two kinds of birds visiting the feeders too.

Looking in to out, a wonderful foursome the Starling and the Collared Dove certainly seem quite calm. For some reasons they always seem to be scrapping like Starlings and Doves in my garden. "Maybe it's the weather?"

My favourites are V3 and V4 because they don't look as if they were taken through the window.
I'm never happy with my images taken through glass but sometimes it's the only way to capture birds.

The clarity is exceedingly good given these were taken through glass, good to see you collar both the collared dove and starling in v1.
