Its another dank grey and miserable day so I was sat playing with my EM-5 + tamron SP 500 mirror whilst having coffee in the Conservatory, hoping for some LTTs to brighten my morning. Nothing!
But then I spotted this Hellebore in the centre of our garden and thought it made an interesting challenge to shoot through the glass.
Hand-held at 1/60th sec with ISO800 I thought it came out suprisingly well, in fact I rather like it, so thought I would see what you made of it
There is a suprising lack of "Doughnuts" in the background
Shortly after I got this shot it got even darker and our local Squirrel thought it would be fun to sit in our tree and pull faces at me but, by upping the ISO to 1600 I managed to get a shot of the little devil, hand-held at 1/200th sec and cropped to 10x8 before resizing. I've put it up as a version as I think its suprising how well it came out (through the window and all)
