Firstly, can I thank you all for your constructive comments on my Pink Reflections upload - I have taken these on board and have uploaded my revised image as V2 today. I feel that I have reached the right medium with this now; hope you think so too!
Today's image depicts time, right down to the ageing of the wood. Layers and textures used for effect.
Thanks so much for your continued support and advice - much appreciated.
I now have a new laptop which I will soon be looking to set up - what I did not realise is that now you don't get a back-up disc with the laptops, you have to do your own first, so I will have to find a slot in my busy schedule to get on and do that before using the machine! Technology eh? (Rolls eyes!!!)

Really well done Carol, V2 looks great from here,

I got a new laptop a couple of weeks ago Carol,and I had to do the back up discs too.
It sounded ''scary'',but it was just 4 discs you put in and just follow the instructions.
Takes a couple of hours,but I suppose it is worth it in the end.
It is amazing how ''fast'' my new one is compared to my old one.
