The Snowman looks a tad lonely waiting int he school playground whilst they are all off for the weekend.. will they come to see him on Monday?
.....Will he still be there waiting for them on Friday/
..you see, life as a snowman is full of imponderables!!

The school is a lovely Victorian stonebuilt, but the village has outgrown it & work is presently going on (yes in greenfield on part of a farm) to build a new one.

Thought I'd give you a break from the Solstice series with this shot taken at the village school, just around the corner.

Have a great day, stay in or wrap up warm!!

Gareth Smile

Hope they manage to at least keep the shell of the old place Garth. Be a shame if this lovely old building was scrapped.

Your'e right Leon, the old one will no doubt fade into memtory..I'm more gutted they are building it on farmland really...seems a bit off..badger setts there :-(
