One from this afternoon with Bruff and Chirs. Thanks for the company gents.
Got a little damp. Retreated after the third soaking. Good fun though.
Thanks for looking
Not too rough then....
Looks stunning, I hope you're going to place it on your wall.
Stunning shot Mands, love that rather threatening looking wave!
Wow that looks frisky! Hope you are getting soaked on the inside with something alcoholic now after all that fun!
Great detail and composition.
Thanks Chris. Cole, was like a mill pond. Shellio, hoping to get it on a wall somewhere, thanks. Chris, thanks, I did beat my retreat very soon after that as the seaweed underfoot combined with the waves shoving my tripod about were a bit much even for me. Jeanie, was certainly getting the heart rate up. Southern comfort duly in hand .
Thanks to the silent types too.
One of the best in a long time Mand.
Thank you Ed and a very humble thanks for the UA.
superb image! love colours!
Tippity top missus, worth a soaking
Thank you Bart. Thanks Paul. See you there tomorrow?
I really like this image. Very dramatic.
Thank you Gary. Welcome to epz.
Super Shot, Missus!
BTW - you might want to let Emily take a look at this
As for tomorrow - are we talking sunrsie or sunset?
Will see Mand, a definite possibility ... got an early start tomorrow though, so might be a little jaded by then ... oops, just noticed the time, night night
Super water motion caught.
Thanks Fran, thanks for the link too. Will get Emily to have a read and get her creativity going. Sunrise isn't really my thing unless there is a guaranteed balmy sunrise to die for (and the weather report reckons it's going to be pants). Sunset is doable though, weather seems reasonable and the tide should be playing.
Enjoy your adventures in the morning. Night night .
thanks Ken. Our comments must have crossed earlier as yours wasn't showing when I replied to the Sutton-Ash's.
Strong composition and like the f/g water.
As good a seascape as I've ever seen, well worth the soaking, I'll bet you were laughing your head off as the waves just kept coming. A classy image.
Cheers Dougie, yes! the fear of being swept away with the waves does induce a bit of hysteria. Will post up a shot that was after a wave had gone over the cam.
Pete, humble thanks for the bagde. Very gratefully received, .
Nicely caught Mand, enjoy tomorrow
Thanks Ange. Going back this afternoon as I have a shot that I have in mind.
Two gorgeous captures, Mands, worth getting soaked for! V1 has to be my fave
Hi Trev, thanks for your comment. V2 was just a bit too much like looking through antique glass for me.
I have yet to capture a sunset here so am planning on coming up on wed afternoon. If you're around be good to meet up
Click for your bravery Just love this Mand and congrats on the HC
Though the composition is a little stiff, the quality in every other dept is stunning
Thanks Ian and Keith. Ange, weather looks rubbish for Wednesday, Tuesday and Thursday look better. Off to bed for me, nights last night and again tonight and tomorrow.
Thanks to all the silent clickers.
Yep, you're right just checked the weather again, will come up tomorrow instead me thinks
Hope you get a belter of a sunset. Won't be able to make it as I have to prep for nights. Enjoy, looks lovely out there now.
Very good composition Mand.
I've been to Perch Rock in the last week, good location and this is a lovely image.
