View of the sculptured columns of the corridor of the Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram India. The temple began construction during the 12th century AD where the corridors measuring almost 2000 feet long (reputedly the longest known corridor in the world) form a rectangle around the inner sanctum prayer hall which is dedicated to the hindu God Shiva. Lovely colours, but the longest corridor in the world? You may find that the Pentagon beats that comfortably. There used to be a corridor in Newcastle in England that was over a mile (5280 feet) long. It connected up a large number of government buildings. It was knocked down 15 years or more ago when the site was redeveloped.
I still love the way Indian temples are so colourful. The inclusion of the figure gives a good sense of scale.
