Friday night at the standing stones at Duddo in Northumberland. During my drive North the sky didn't look at all promising being featureless solid blue. Fortunately as the sun dropped there was just enough cloud to shield the direct sunlight. The views from this viewpoint are stunning in all directions. Whoever first erected these stones couldn't have picked a finer position.
