A closer view of the castle - taken before my last upload. We were the last folk on the island as the tide was coming in and the causeway was getting narrower and narrower...

this upload inspired me to go and read about the place Jeanie and its some turmoil the present owner is in with regard to restoration.
Yes I read some of that Kin - the battle with Historic Scotland I think, been ongong for at least 4 years.
