Following on from the texture discussions in the forums, here are 3 versions of an image, the original straight from the camera and two versions with textures added, which do you prefer?

With texture Angi - the texture adds a complimentary dimention to the shot without removing any attention from your subject. An excellent piece of work.

V1 for me by far. I think it would look even better if feet were in full focus too. Just personal preference. Amazing colours and details captured.

Yep, I quite agree, I rather stupidly had the aperture at F5.6 to blur the background, but wish I had upped it to F8-11 for a few too. I will next time

A wonderful shot in all three versions. V3 for me because it's easier to look at the subject.
