Many thanks for you C&C on Elrond. Yes, he is getting better but he has still got the hump about the 3 tablets per day.

Here is one for the Scots among you: the harbour as seen in the early morning after a visit to the nearby pub. I took this before I had a swim, after all there was no danger to be seen.

Lovely shot, Annette: great reflections and I like the way the horizon is lost in the mist.

Dear Ann, swimming in Scotland doesn't require bravery, only what I call a protective layer (others call it excess body mass) It is a bit like the seals you see on frozen planet Smile
----
one day I had been swimming from the beach of Burray - it was OK. The next day it was not that nice but I tried anyhow near the Brough of Birsay.. just when I had decided it was a wee bit nippy in the wind and dried of quiclky an elderly lady said to me:
'nice and warm today isn't it'
I swallowed hhhhhard , unlocked my clattering teeth and replied' Oh dear, I'm afraid I'm a foreigner to these parts, I'm not as hardy as you are'
After which she explained to me that she was from the Shetlands and always went on holiday to the Orkneys as it was nice and mild there!
All is relative Smile
