Taken in Totana, Spain.

I considered cropping the top of V1 so that the red bricks emanated from the top left corner, but it removed too much of the blue tiles, so I went for balance instead. The same applies to V2. A necessary compromise. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to itGrin!

5 versions, 4 of the wall detail, and the 5th one showing the wall and stairs in context.
Please don't judge the 5th image, it really isn't very good, but is the only one I have to show you the whole wall.

Pamela.

The fifth image is so necessary to see how you've made your abstracts Pamela. Oh to be back in Spain right now.... Smile

What a very pleasing design to hide an otherwise very stark wall, Pamela, an excellent set. Carol

They are not afraid of colour in Spain are they? Interesting abstracts and V5 is an essential contextual shot

I like your compositions. I'm not keen on lines that emanate from the corners so this sits very well with me.

RGB...
I was fascinated to see V5, for the 'explanation'.
V1 definitely my favourite - and I would have cropped that bit off the top. The diagonal meeting the corner somehow brings everything together, and I don't think the green and blue areas need to be equal.
V4 my other preference here, the lines are so strong.

A very ornate wall Pamela.
And details well picked out with your variants.
I find V3 the most appealing.
Good set.

A great set of observational images Pamela. I am glad you showed us v5, at least then we had all the information we needed to make our judgement.

A difficult task for the tile layer, but must make a change from the boring flat walls covered with the same tiles.
The mystery solved in V5, thank you.
