alternative visual approach to the grape hyacinth i captured. initially was going to be totally black & white but i decided to use a mask to allow a subtle hint of the marvellous blue of the plant.

Nice. I like the blur against the grey, though I can see it might not be everyone's taste. What i would say is that the blue does not have much punch. I think I might have increased the contrast on the flower to separate it from the background. .....Peter
