Can shots of peoples backs be interesting?

For me it makes me wonder what they were going to do that they were walking so purposefully. Or how grown up little Rose was feeling being asked to run an errand and collect something important from the Dairy or the Bakehouse.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the 3D effect - the characters are in focus and the house is not, which is the usual depth of field stuff. What I have done is to overlay a black and white version of the photo on the colour one to try and give it a more subdued feel. I am glad that you like it, not many others have voted on it though Sad
