Inspired partly by a series from London I've been doing and a shot from the scottish landscape master, Dougie Salteri, it's another shot of oilseed rape but with all the colour sucked out!

Dave was just behind me at this point, the last few shots like this were pointing the otherway, but the clouds in this one had more blue poking through, hence an ideal candidate for this kind of conversion.

Like it but the steepness of the field distracts. Nice mono image though.

cheers folks

this field was slightly hilly, that's why there's a hill in the shot. If reality distracts you, fair enough Wink

You don't mess about when you get the bit between your teeth Ade, perfect conversion. The sky and crop work perfectly together, so you don't need the colour.
Cheers for the very kind comment in your caption, I'll try to live up to the compliment.

Nice one Ade, really do like the fisheye feel to this, and good strong contrast between sky and field.
Maybe the shot could be even better with the tracks coming from the lower left corner? (IMHO)
Apart from that, very nicely done.
