That boat and the stake in the water - so simple, so beautiful. I enjoy seeing the sun and its reflection but there's another, different, picture here, in a square crop from the right-hand side (crop off to between the sun and the stake, then a sliver from the sky to correct the square. Well it works for me.)

The water is so incredibly still! The light and colours make an even greater impact than usual, as we have driving rain, wild winds and all seems to have turned to grey!!

It is fairly mild here for the time of year but wet everywhere. Not as bad as for some poor folk across parts of the world though. This is a superb image, such absolutely still water giving that wonderful rich reflected colour. Certainly warmed me up! Wink

There was a thread in the forums just prior to Christmas where there was a call for an Elite Gallery for togs that attain a certain level on this site....your work (and this is a perfect example) would for me be up there with the elite my friend.
