I met this delightful lady at Chicago O'Hare Airport. She was standing at the bottom of the escalator, trying to get the courage to step onto it.

I took her hand in mine and said that on the count of three she was to put her right foot on the same step as I, and off we went.

Lensbaby composer/sweet-35 optic;f/2.5

Thanks for looking.

Anne

Very nice portrait -- great light on her face and excellent detail. That was a very nice gesture on your part -- helping her with the escalator.

The LB is a fine tool for portraits with heart.
If only everyone would offer their neighbor a hand, what a better world it would be.

I wonder how many people had rushed past her, too busy to notice her anxiety? Good on you, Ann, showing kindness to a stranger. You will be rewarded in Heaven Smile. As you were on earth with this lovely smile Smile
