Nice shot, perhaps a triffle dark but then this just adds to the atmosphere.

Thank you Graham, I did try to bright it up a bit, but the reflection didn't look very nice, so I left it as this. I do wonder if it is too dark...Thank you again

Hello, Xiaoli. A nice autumnal scene with the tree reflected in the puddle, a pathway lead-through and a very attractive sky. Your image is quite dark on my screen, and I think your camera has exposed for the sky, leaving the rest of the image underexposed. I have done a modification where I firstly straightened the image using the tree trunk and its reflection as my straightening line. I reduced highlights (for the sky), lifted shadows (for the land), increased saturation (for the colours), then adjusted levels. I used the burn tool on the white sky area, selectively saturated the golds, then slightly sharpened with high pass sharpen. I have put this mod on your "Evening in the Street of Lincoln" picture.
Pamela.

Excellent autumn landscape, with its mushy rainy muddy puddles. I like the depth and perspective of this capture, including the silvery clouds and patch of blue sky.

Good composition and I kinda agree with Pamela. It appears a bit dark in the fg and mid distance. It could be something you could alter in PS just to 'brighten' it up a little. I appreciate the weather conditions were not very helpful. in fact round here it is awful as well. Ducking in and out between the showers (very heavy). Paul

A lovely composition. It did need that slight straighten though and Pamela’s mod has brought out the super colours. A very nice scene well recorded.

Good picture but a little dark - perhaps brighten and then dodge a few areas in the foreground and middle distance. A

Thank you very much Athur for your helpful comment, I thought to brighten it up the light a bit, but the whole aera would be lighten up, I didn't think to dodge it. Very helpful indeed.

Very simple but effective, captures the prevailing conditions very well.
